SACRAMENTO, Calif. — Nissan Motor Co. and LiCAP Technologies have joined forces to push forward dry electrode technology for all-solid-state batteries (ASSBs), a key innovation for the next wave of electric vehicles.
The partnership builds on earlier research and will scale LiCAP’s solvent-free Activated Dry Electrode® process, which cuts environmental impact and boosts performance and efficiency.
“This is a major step toward cleaner, smarter EV production,” said Dr. Linda Zhong, CEO of LiCAP.
The alliance supports Nissan’s Ambition 2030 vision and marks a milestone in sustainable energy storage and affordable, high-performance electric mobility.
