Pixel 10 Camera Gets Major Zoom Upgrade and an AI ‘Coach’

by admin477351

Google is once again raising the bar for mobile photography with its new Pixel 10 and Pixel 10 Pro. The latest models introduce significant hardware upgrades, including a 5x telephoto camera on the standard Pixel 10 and a formidable 10x optical zoom on the Pixel 10 Pro, giving users unprecedented creative flexibility.

But the innovation doesn’t stop at hardware. The phones debut a new feature called “Camera Coach,” which uses Google’s powerful AI to help you take better pictures. By analyzing the scene through your viewfinder, the AI can suggest alternative framing, better angles, or adjustments to lighting, acting as a professional photographer’s assistant in your pocket.

This AI prowess is enabled by the new Tensor G5 chip and extends beyond photography. The headline software feature, “Magic Cue,” uses Gemini to proactively manage your digital life. It intelligently pulls data from your apps to provide helpful information at the right moment, like displaying a ticket QR code when you’re near a venue or showing your calendar when scheduling plans via text.

The new Pixel 10 Pro Fold also benefits from this camera system and AI, while adding a crucial IP68 water resistance rating. Alongside the phones, Google announced the Pixel Watch 4 and Pixel Buds 2a, both deeply integrated with the Gemini AI to provide a cohesive and intelligent user experience across devices.
