Ryanair is offering flights in September and October starting at £14.99 on routes including London to Castellon, Barcelona, and Valencia. Prices for November and December trips begin at around £19.99. Meanwhile, easyJet has launched a sale featuring over 780,000 discounted seats, offering up to 20% off on selected routes. Travelers can find fares from Gatwick to Alicante, Bristol to Malaga, and Luton to Barcelona starting at £18.99, with some October flights to Palma available from £15.99.
As Wizz Air broadens its footprint in Spain by opening new bases in Valencia and Madrid this November, it introduces additional routes that intensify competition with Ryanair. In a similar vein, Spanish carriers are entering the price war. Vueling is providing up to 20% off on 110,000 seats, with international flights priced from €16. Iberia offers domestic flights starting at €24 and journeys to select European destinations from €29. Furthermore, Air Europa’s anniversary sale presents fares beginning at €25.
The focus of these reduced fares is to stimulate demand following a busy summer travel season. However, passengers should note that the most economical tickets typically cover only a small under-seat bag, with extra charges for seat selection, cabin luggage, and checked baggage.
